The BeyWatch project, a European initiative aiming at developing an energy-aware and user-centric solution, able to provide intelligent energy monitoring/control and power demand balancing at home/building & neighbourhood level, is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the ICT for Energy Efficiency event, to be held in Brussels, Belgium on March 19 & 20, 2009. The ICT4EE event expect to be the most important EU event on ICT for Energy Efficiency. The Commission is aiming to create a lasting policy framework on ICT for Energy Efficiency. To this end, Commissioner Reding is hosting this High Level Event on the 19th and 20th March 2009 during the Czech Presidency. This event aims to accord visibility to the potential of ICTs in enabling energy efficiency across the economy and in particular it will show how ICT-based innovations may provide one of the potentially most cost-effective means to achieve the 2020 energy and climate targets. The Beywatch project being in its early stage, no concrete outputs will be showcased yet, but the Beywatch concepts and objectives will be presented. Representatives of the Beywatch project will be pleased to meet you there to further discuss its concept.
