The BeyWatch project, a European initiative aiming at ICT tools for energy efficient white goods and energy management, is pleased to announce the availability of the preliminary agenda of the workshop of November 17, focusing on energy management and energy efficient white goods, proposed within the ict for sustainable homes conference of Nov. 16 & 17 in Nice, France.
Aiming at discussing the status and perspectives for home energy management and energy efficient white goods, the workshop also aims at spreading the project concepts and results towards the whole field in Europe and beyond. After an opening session featuring keynote speakers, the main project innovations will be presented and debated, including:
- Energy-aware white goods

The workshop will also intend through a roundtable discussion featuring industry groups, standard organisations, and research projects, to agree on a consensus for a roadmap on further research and assess potential areas of cooperation and synergies with key players in the field.
All players involved in the field of ICT for energy efficiency (from white good manufacturers to utilities and telcos) are cordially invited to participate in this workshop in particular and in the ICT for sustainable homes event in general, which agenda will be unveiled by the end of July 2009.
