A few days left to get involved at early bird fees in the ICT for sustainable homes conference and exhibition!
ICT for sustainable homes is an international conference and exhibition organised every year in Nice, France by Sigma Orionis in cooperation with the European Commission’s DG Information Society and Media.
This research forum focuses on “ICT for sustainable homes” and aims at providing a key opportunity to meet and network, to be informed of latest developments and find fresh ideas, to identify promising technologies and markets, to find potential partners, to initiate or strengthen projects, etc.
Over 200 delegates from Europe and other regions of the world and over 20 exhibitors are expected to attend the 2010 edition of the event.
The structure of ICT for sustainable homes 2010 includes a conference organised in plenary and thematic sessions, and scientific workshops held in parallel:
- a Beywatch Workshop, on issues related to ICT for energy efficient homes and neighbourhoods,
- a Workshop on the European RTD roadmap on ICT for energy efficiency, organised by the EU-funded REEB, REViSITE and ICT4E2B Forum projects
- a Workshop on Data Models for ICT4EE: this session will discuss about the high level data models and the messaging systems needed from the small meters to the big BMS’s
- a Workshop on Energy Efficiency measurements and validation methodology for pilots: towards homogeneous methodological approach that could make results of our RTD projects clearly readable, comparable and visible and show clear return on investment figures.
Ample time is left in the two-day programme to allow delegates to take advantage of networking opportunities and visit the exhibition area.
We intend to make the event a fruitful "forum" for all EU projects in the field and really hope most will join!
The event will also include an exhibition, and EU projects are offered the opportunity to exhibit "at cost"; i.e. for 400 euros for a standard booth. Several projects have already decided to exhibit and we hope more will join soon.
